What is EFT?
“EFT” is based on impressive new discoveries involving the body's subtle energies. It has been clinically effective (properly applied, over 80% achieve either noticeable improvement or complete cessation of the problem) for trauma, abuse, stress, anxiety, fears, phobias, depression, grief, addictive cravings, relationship issues and hundreds of physical symptoms including headaches, body pains, immune deficiency, diseases, skin disorders and breathing difficulties.
In simplest terms, EFT is an emotional form of acupuncture except that we don't use needles. Instead, we tap with the fingertips to stimulate certain meridian points while the client is "tuned in" to the issue. We are still learning why EFT (and its many cousins) works so well. The existing theory is that "the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system."
The subtle energies that circulate throughout the body have been largely ignored, until recently, by western scientists. As a result, our use of them for emotional and spiritual healing has been sparse at best. With EFT, however, we consider these subtle energies to be the front running cause of emotional upsets. As a result, we generate results that are FAR beyond those of conventional methods.
Furthermore, EFT often provides relief for a very wide range of physical symptoms. This is abundantly clear in our case histories, which provide unmistakable evidence of the link between our physical ailments and our emotional issues.
I have worked with many people, privately and in workshops, and am constantly amazed at the results that EFT brings. I've lost count of the number of phobias, traumatic memories, guilt, grief and physical ailments that have been elegantly relieved, often in minutes, by this procedure.
Even though EFT violates just about every conventional belief out there, the results remain remarkable. EFT isn't perfect, of course. We don't get 100%. But it usually works well and the results are sometimes spectacular. Compared to other techniques, EFT is usually quite gentle and substantial relief is often achieved with little or no pain. It often works where nothing else will.
